What types of diseases harm the nervous system ?

  1. Some types of diseases that harm the nervous system are paralysis which is the loss of muscle function for one or more muscle. A stroke which is the rapid loss of brain function or functions due to disturbance in the blood supply to the brain.That is only two there is a lot more.

    Some diseases that harm the nervous system are strokes, down syndrome, mental retardation, and paralisis.

  4. some diseases of the nervous system are which is encephalitis which is the rapid inflation of the brain.Then there is Parkinson's disease which is causing the death of dopamine creating cells There are many more so look them up.

  6. The diseases that harm the nervous system may dull feeling or cause excessive pain or increased sensitivity. Parkinson's, MS, and others are some examples.

  8. Some diseases of the nervous system are Alzhimer's Disease which causes you to lose memory. It is more common in women than men and is the leading cause of dementia.

  9. Some of the diseases that can be harmful are things like alzeimers which damages memories. You can have tourette's which causes very spontanouse or repetetive things.

    Huntington Disease-Huntington Disease initially have a tendency to fidget which over months or years develops into jerky, choreiform movements.

    Tourette Syndrome-This syndrome begins in childhood and manifests itself through various forms of tics. These tics include frequent, irregular movements of the head, neck, or shoulders.

    Locked-In Syndrome-This syndrome is due to stroke, tumor or trauma to the ventral part of the rostral pons. Lesions there render the individual quadriplegic, unable to speak and incapable of facial movement.
