It is kinda like photosynthesis. The formula: Glucose(C6H12O6)+Oxygen(6O2)+Carbon Dioxide(6CO2)+Water(6H2O)+Energy(Energy). The plants need all of it but they also need soil and sun but they don't need energy. People need it all.
Looking at the formula on page 93 of the text book, how does that compare to the process of photosynthesis? the figure compares to photosythesis because in the figure we breath in and take the oxygen and then breath out and realease waste photosythesis is the complete oposite.
The things a human needs to stay alive are similar to the things a plant needs to stay alive. Both plants and animals need carbon dioxide, oxygen, water, glucose, and energy to survive. Plants consume sunlight and turn it into energy, where as humans consume food and turn it into energy. I think that the food we eat is more efficient than sunlight because we can grow and move, where as plants can grow, but not move.
The formula for photosynthesis is Carbon dioxide + Water + Light energy → Glucose + Oxygen, and the formula on page 93 is Glucose + Oxygen → Carbon dioxide + Water + Energy. They're almost exactly the same, just flipped around!
Glucose+Oxygen=Carbon Dioxide+Water+Energy
ReplyDeleteAll plants need these things to stay alive.

ReplyDeleteIt compares to the photosynthesis because all plants need those things to be able to stay alive or live.

Plants and people use all of these things to live.
ReplyDeletePhotosynthesis uses carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen and breathing uses oxygen and gives off carbon dioxide.
ReplyDeleteglucose+oxygen+carbon dioxide+water=energy so that is waht u need to survive
ReplyDeleteIt compares to photosynthesis because it's like the plants way to breath.

ReplyDeleteAll of the things in the graph are needed when using photosysthisis

ReplyDeleteit is like photosynthesis because it's the way the plants breathe and get oxygen and nutrients.
ReplyDeleteThey are almost exactly the same, but instead of using light energy, they use other types of energy other than light.

ReplyDeleteglucose + oxygen then carbon dioxide and water then energy. plants also take in sunlight and can only grow but we eat food and can grow and move.
ReplyDeleteThe formula compares to the process of photosynthesis because everything in the formula is used in photosynthesis.
