Birds

What role do birds play in the reproduction of some plants ?

  6. Birds will sometimes carry seeds then drop them. They will also eat the seeds. Their body cannot fully digest it so when the go to the bathroom they leave the seeds.

  12. Birds carry seeds, and hummingbirds (are there more nectar sipping birds?) can carry pollen, from flower to flower. If a bird carries a seed and then drops it in a open fertile area, the seed might grow: producing another plant. If a bird eats a seed, their..... excrement can contain the seed and can also provide nutrients for it.
