What part of the brain controls emotions, and where does the response of laughter come from in the brain ?

  2. The entire nervous system has to do with emotions, of course. But the part that seems to have the most to do with emotions of the brain is the limbic system. If you remember how to laugh, the hippocampus is working.

  9. The Limbic system and the amygdala control your emotions. Laughter is triggered by stimuli. So it could be coming from the ventromedial prefrontal cortex. Also some could come from the Limbic System.
