Why does fear sometimes create temporary paralysis? What is the effect on the central and peripheral nervous system? Does this relate to autonomic responses?
I think fear paralysis comes from an overload of stress and it kind of shuts down the body and nervous system, Like how adrenaline can make your heart speed up and you act fast, I think it can also act in reverse and you can freeze up because your body cant make sense of all the adrenalin and messages that your brain is sending it. (I have no Idea of the real reason this was just my best guess.)
